From fetching firewood, repairing fences, feeding-attending & training horses, building shelters, ensuring hot water flows to the showers & kitchen sink, monitoring the solar power that runs the fridge & freezers, growing simple greens in the garden, preparing & serving healthy delicious meals. These practical skills can not only be learned but mastered.

We are offering an experiential program for wilderness living, camp exploration & development, trail management, and guide training.
In this hands-on program you will learn: foundational skills & wilderness survival techniques to support your most primary needs, how & where to choose a good campsite, hands on construction of essential camp infrastructure, seek out new & maintain existing wilderness trails, care & management of horses, learn basic & down to earth guiding skills, all while gaining insightful personal development and enjoying some of the most pristine wilderness in BC.
Your training begins around the lodge & home ranch then transitioning onto local & remote trails & camps. This program is not all physical effort! We spend a generous amount of our time enjoying our connection to the land, people, and the creatures we share it with. Observing, interacting, and applying these skills in the wild setting allows for restored authenticy & new perspectives.
